Do I need to have any previous qualifications before attending the course?

A warm waxing certificate that is recognised through BABTAC beauty insurance is required to attend the advanced waxing course. Next Step also require at least 6months experience of warm waxing prior to the course to ensure that all students are at the required standard.

How will the course be structured?

The course will cover the theory part in the morning followed by a step by step demonstration from which students will observe and then work on each other practising the techniques of application and then a model will be required from 12.30pm. Students will then complete a Brazillian and Hollywood wax on their individual model.

Students are assessed throughout the day through observation of practical skills, questions and answers and a quiz will be taken at the end of the day.

All students will receive feedback at the end of the day and will be encouraged to identify development areas

A pass or refer will be given at the end of the day

What do I need to bring?

All materials will be provided on the day, training stock and course manuals. It is recommended to bring a note pad and pen to take notes.

Coffee/tea and water will be provided including biscuits at tea break. A lunch and drink should be brought with each student.

Will I be able to work within the industry after the course?

Yes this course is accredited with BABTAC Beauty insurance which will offer you the insurance cover needed to provide treatments on paying client’s within the industry.

On successful completion of the course a Next Step Beauty training certificate will be issued and a photocopy of this will be required by the insurance company to process your application of insurance.

Cancellation of courses

All courses are non refundable. You can attend an alternative date or send a substitute delegate, ensuring they meet the course entrance requirements. You must inform Next Step Beauty Training at least 7days prior to the course date if any changes are made.
