Facial and Skincare Course Overview
Facial treatments are one of the most popular beauty therapies and this Facial and Skincare course provides students with a in-depth knowledge of skincare and facial techniques. Students will learn the different skin types, skin conditions and is a brilliant foundation for all our beauty courses.
Leave our training school with the skills to work professionally within a salon or your own business
Anatomy and physiology of the muscels and bone structure of the face is incorporated into this course together with skin analysis so that you have a complete knowledge of the structure and functions of each area. As part of the course, the importance of client care, health and safety and how to market yourself will also be covered.
You will learn the theory of massage as well as the practical movements of treating the whole face
This facial and skincare course opens the door for you to also complete other courses such as eyelash enhancement, eyelash extensions, eyelash perming and full body massage.
The course involves 3 days of practical in-college training followed by 6 weeks of home study, which will include case studies and theory workbooks. You will then be required to attend a review day prior to being qualified in Facial and Skincare. The review day will include practical assessment and a theory paper.
There a two qualification levels with either BABTAC or VTCT. Both levels will enable to you work within the industry and you can choose this at the checkout stage.
Once you have successfully completed the Facial and Skincare Course you will be awarded with the Diploma which enables you to obtain insurance.

Qualification
Once you have successfully completed the Facial and Skincare course you will be awarded with a Diploma which enables you to obtain insurance through BABTAC. This course is also available as a VTCT qualification. You can add this to your shopping cart at the end of the booking process.
Entry Requirements
No previous experience, qualifications or knowledge within the beauty industry is required to attend the Facial and Skincare course. The course starts from a basic level and therefore is recommended for anyone wishing to go into the beauty industry.
Insurance
The Facial and Skincare course is fully accredited with BABTAC Beauty insurance. This insurance cover will allow you to provide treatments on paying clients. On successful completion of the Facial and Skincare course a Diploma certificate will be issued and a photocopy of this will be required by the insurance company to process your application of insurance.
