Course: UV Gel Nail Course - 2 Day Course

(Day 2 nail technician course)

Time: 10am - 5pm

The Next Step UV Gel Training Course will run from 10am to 5pm with a 30minute lunch break. This gives the students a total of 6hrs 30minutes of learning time. There will be a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes theory and 4 hours of practical work and assessment.

The course is designed for a student who has no previous UV Gel nails learning experience within the beauty industry or for a nail technician who is currently within the industry wanting to refresh their skills and update their theory knowledge.

The UV Gel nails course will give each learner a foundation understanding of nail extensions ranging from the basic preparation of a nail to applying nail extensions with an overlay.

If the learner wishes to continue with training there is a progression route that they can follow and all information will be given in the training prospectus given to each student.

All students will be practically assessed throughout the day and their theory knowledge will be assessed with completion of a quiz paper at the end of the day. A full assessment will take place 8weeks after the course where a practical and written assessment will take place.

Assessment methods used will be Question and answer, group activities/discussion, review questions, practical observation and written paper.

With completion of this all students will receive certification on the day clearly stating BABTAC are the accredited insurance company.
