Do I need to have any previous qualifications before attending the course?

There are no previous qualifications or knowledge within the beauty industry required to take the course. However it is recommended to have prior knowledge of eye treatments and strip/individual eyelash applications as this will help throughout the course.

The course will start at the basic level so recommended for all levels and for students wanting to go into the beauty industry. Next Step beauty training will aim to provide and support individual students through the learning process of the course.

How will the course be structured?

The course will cover the theory of lash extensions in the morning followed by a demonstration from which students will observe and then work on practice heads progressing onto each other. Students are assessed throughout the day through observation of practical skills, questions and answers and a quiz will be taken at the end of the day to assess knowledge.

All students will receive feedback at the end of the day and will receive a pass or refer. Certification will then be issued.

What do I need to bring?

Student kits that will be included within the course price will allow students to work from their own individual kits.

Training course manuals will be provided. It is recommended to bring a note pad and pen to take notes.

Coffee/tea and water will be provided including biscuits at tea break. A lunch and drink should be brought with each student.

Will I be able to work within the industry after the course?

Yes this course is accredited with BABTAC Beauty insurance which will offer you the insurance cover needed to provide treatments on paying client’s within the industry.

On successful completion of the course a Next Step Beauty training certificate will be issued and a photocopy of this will be required by the insurance company to process your application of insurance.

What can I do after the course?

Cancellation of courses

All courses are non refundable. You can attend an alternative date or send a substitute delegate, ensuring they meet the course entrance requirements. You must inform Next Step Beauty Training at least 7days prior to the course date if any changes are made.
