Nail Technicians Courses Overview

Our nail technician courses structure offers both distance learning and practical training combined. Working at your own pace, our unique online student portal, which is accessible as soon as you purchase your course, provides full demonstration tutorial videos, nail technician course manuals and student support systems allowing you to start learning straight away! You then attend the 4 days practical training to further enforce what your have already learnt and spend time with your tutor who will guide you before attending a review day typically 4 – 8 weeks later to gain your qualification and certification.

The course content covers the principles of manicure, nail anatomy and physiology, tip application and blending, fibreglass and silk application, as well as UV gel and Acrylic application. After successful completion of the nail technician course each student will be issued with a Complete Nail Technician Diploma allowing you to work within a salon or start up your very own business and get insurance!

During the practical training days all products and equipment will be supplied for you so there is no need to purchase a kit however we do recommend for the home study and practise periods. We do offer student starter kits for home use which can be purchased at the time of buying your nail technicians courses, during or even after you have completed! It is also essential that all students attend the practical training days wearing no nail extensions as students will work on one another throughout. We advise this as we believe it is important for you to not only experience applying the nails to someone but also to experience from a clients point of view.

This nail technicians course also covers natural GEL POLISH used by brands like Shellac, Gelish and Gelux

This is your next step into the nail industry but definitely not the last with numerous further learning opportunities for students after completion of the nail technician courses.

Once you have successfully completed our nail tech courses, you will gain a Next Step Beauty Diploma, which you will require to gain insurance to be able to apply nails to your clients.  Your certificate will be produced, accredited and then sent to you via post however in the meantime you are able to download a copy of your nail certificate from your own student portal (within 48 hours of the course) allowing you to gain insurance straight away. Our student portal has been designed to offer an unrivalled student experience and has a host of resources available for you to use.

Nail Technician Courses Entry Requirements

No previous experience, qualifications or knowledge within the nail industry is required to attend our nail technician courses. The nail tech course starts from a basic beginners level which is recommended for anyone wishing to go into the nail industry and learn how to provide nail treatments to clients.

Our nail technician courses are FULLY ACCREDITED so on successfully completion of the nail tech course you will be awarded with the Next Step Beauty Diploma which enables you to obtain insurance.

Nail Technician Course Insurance

Our nail technician courses are fully accredited with BABTAC. On successful completion of the nail technician course a Next Step Beauty Diploma certificate will be issued and a photocopy of this will be required by the insurance company to process your application of insurance.
