Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions are subject to each and every course booked or goods purchased through Next Step Beauty a trading name of Totally Beauty Limited. Students agree they have read, understood and accept the Terms in full before proceeding with their course booking.

Course Booking Terms

  1. Next Step Beauty College takes no responsibilities for any valuables or possessions that go missing within the building or at any location which we are running courses.
  2. Next Step Beauty College reserve the rights in the design, text, graphics, images and course material, handouts, website, prospectus, and all other literature is the copyright of Next Step Beauty College and the use of them are not permitted without prior approval in writing from Next Step Beauty College. Any other use of the companies materials including reproduction for purposes and alteration, modification, distribution or republication without our prior written permission is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action being taken against you.
  3. All materials, handouts, workbooks and other literature supplied by Next Step Beauty College must not be copied or used in any way. All materials are copyright to the company and MUST NOT be reproduced in any form.
  4. All courses must be booked and payed in full in advance. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  5. Students who book courses using our EziPay payment scheme agree to pay 50% of total order on the date of order with the remaining payments being taken from the registered debit or credit card automatically on the dates agreed. Next Step Beauty reserve the right to add a £35 administration fee along with interest at 3% above the base rate plus any costs incured due to invoices not being paid on the agreed dates. The student understands that certificates will not be sent until full payment of the account has been settled.
  6. If students do not attend on the first day of the course they shall lose 100% of the course fee. If the student is on our EziPay plan the student must provide full payment to clear their account within 7 days of the course date.
  7. Places on courses can only be scheduled if full payment has been received. For students on our EziPay Plan, places on courses can only be scheduled once the deposit payment has been received.
  8. All students must act and behave appropriately and not undertake any act that would bring dishonour to the company, as this could result in the candidate/student to be dismissed and 100% of the course fees lost.
  9. The students must be dressed appropriately for ALL courses and are required to wear comfortable smart clothing. Tunics can be worn alternatively black trousers and a black t-shirt should be worn.
  10. Hair is recommended to be tied away from the face.
  11. Students understand that they work on each other and models are not required for courses. If a model is required, Next Step Beauty will contact the student to arrange a model however this not likely.
  12. Next Step Beauty College reserves the right to change the course contents, materials, tutors, training dates/days, venue and course requirements at any time without prior notice. The student will not be entitled to any refund should the above happen.
  13. Students must be at the course location 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the course times set out in the course confirmation. Students who do not attend the course will loose 100% of the fees paid. In extreme circumstances Next Step Beauty College will allow students to change the course date however this is strictly at the discretion of the Next Step Beauty College management. Any course changes will result in a £45 admin charge which must be paid by the student prior to a new date being booked.
  14. All students must practice between course and assessment days.
  15. Children are not allowed in during training.
  16. Students are responsible for providing kits where Next Step Beauty College has specifically noted that kits are not included. Students are responsible for providing the correct kits although kits maybe purchased from the company if prior notice is given.
  17. Mobile phones must be switched off in the training rooms at all times
  18. Next Step Beauty College will not tolerate Physical or verbal abuse to any members of staff at any time.
  19. Refreshments will be available for you to enjoy, where possible, during break times of your course. Please be aware, that if you suffer from allergies or have any special dietary requirements. Next Step Beauty College has no control over the ingredients of the refreshments available and takes no responsibility for clients suffering any allergic reactions or special dietary specifications.
  20. All students must abide by the Terms and Conditions of the company at all times. Any students that do not abide by the rules will not be accepted on to the course and will lose their course fee.
  21. As part our service to provide excellent customer service we operate an equal opportunities policy
  22. Next Step Beauty College operates a non-smoking policy. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
  23. As part of our commitment to providing excellent customer service your opinions and feedback is valued and welcome any your comments and compliments you may have to help us make your salon a better place for you and others
  24. All student and client information at Next Step Beauty College is kept confidential.
  25. We invite students who are not 100% confident after the course to come and join the next set of courses in the same subject. Please note this is only available within six months after the date of the course after six months students shall need to repay.
  26. For students attending any nail course, nail enhancement must not be worn.
  27. Students understand that as part of the course, you may be asked to work on other students
  28. Students understand that to gain qualification they are to return to the company should an assessment day be required and that students are responsible for practicing between training and assessment days. Students are required to provide their own training stock whilst at home. Students who do not return for the assessment date provided will be required to pay an additional £75 fee to re-book the assessment day.
  29. Students understand and accept that certificates will be produced, accredited and sent within 8 weeks of the completion of the course or assessment day. It is also understood and agreed that students are responsible for ensuring the correct details are provided in the student portal including the students name, address and course details. Any re-production of certificates due to in-correct data will result in the student paying a £25 fee. Students understand that certificates are printed and sent once and any reproduction on certificates due to the certificate being lost, stolen, undelivered or broken may result in an extra fee of £25 for reproduction. Certificate will be delivered to mainly UK addresses free of charge, for addresses outside the UK the delivery cost will be added to the students account.
  30. Kit and product purchases must be paid in full prior to dispatch. Kits and products are not available on EziPay plan and can not be refunded under any circumstances.

Kits and Products Purchase Terms

Making A Purchase

Next Step Beauty is a TRADE supplier only.

The prices published are for nail technicians and beauty therapists (either trained or undertaking training) and salon owners. If proof of professional status cannot be provided then limited lines may be available to non-trade persons at Recommended Retail Price and your invoice will be amended accordingly. If you are in any doubt please contact us. Goods are sold on the understanding that they will only be used for their intended purpose by fully trained therapists/technicians, or students taught under qualified instruction. Please note. Next Step Beauty will not accept responsibility for damage or injury resulting from accidental misuse by untrained personnel. Next Step Beauty goods are not sold on a sale or return basis.

If it is a NEW CUSTOMER making payment by card, we will:
- Carry out appropriate SECURITY CHECKS to confirm the transaction is with the genuine cardholder
- Deliver to the cardholder statement address only
- Instruct the carriage company to obtain cardholder signature on delivery.

It is the CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY to CHECK THE ORDER UPON DELIVERY for accuracy, quality and damages and to notify Next Step Beauty WITHIN 3 WORKING DAYS if there is ANY DISCREPANCY.

If the Customer breaches any of the Terms and Conditions of Sale, Next Step Beauty may defer or cancel any further deliveries of Goods, stop any Goods in transit and treat the Order as terminated.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Shipping And Handling

In the normal course of events, orders will be:
- Delivered CARRIAGE FREE (in Mainland UK) if £100 (Net) and over in value. The exception, where a £100 (Net) and over order is excessive weight, the carriage charge will be agreed.
- All other Orders will be subject to a £5.00 + VAT CARRIAGE CHARGE. Outside Mainland UK or for London Congestion other charges may apply.

Carriage charges cover packing and delivery.

In the normal course of events, Next Step Beauty will deliver the Order to the ADDRESS SPECIFIED BY THE CUSTOMER at the time of placing the Order. Please Note if the delivery address is changed after despatch an additional carriage charge will apply.

Delivery Schedule In the normal course of events, orders will be:
- DESPATCHED WITHIN 5 WORKINGDAYS if placed by us onto our ordering system before 2.00pm.

Specific time for delivery will not form part of the Order. Although Next Step Beauty will endeavour to deliver goods by a date agreed with the Customer, such a date is given in good faith and the company will not be liable for any failure to deliver by such a date.

Back Orders In the normal course of events, Next Step Beauty or represented suppliers will indicate on the invoice any items not in stock. These will be delivered to the Customer as soon as available.

You will always be contacted if we anticipate an excessive delay in supplying any item not in stock.

Tax Charges For goods (except books) ordered from the UK or the European Union, 20.00% VAT is added. Orders from other jurisdictions are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero .

Credit Card Security Credit/debit card fraud prevention is an essential part of our service to you. We take our customers’ data security seriously. All transaction information passed between Next Step Beauty and Sage Pay’s systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to servers from Sage Pay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely assured that nothing you pass to Sage Pay’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

Guarantee Next Step Beauty will have no liability to the Customer whatsoever in respect of incorrect storage of the Goods or failure to observe the instructions or recommendations regarding the use of the Goods.

Returns Policy UNSATISFACTORY QUALITY / DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

Next Step Beauty will accept the return of Goods if unsatisfactory quality / damaged in transit if
i. Notified to us within 3 WORKING DAYS OF DELIVERY
ii. Returned to us WITHIN 7 WORKING DAYS
iii. We are satisfied that the Goods have not been opened or used any more than necessary to identify the need to return
iv.We are satisfied that the Goods are unsatisfactory quality / damaged in transit.

Next Step Beauty at its discretion will either replace or repair the Goods so that they comply with the contract. If we unable to replace or repair the Goods we will issue a Credit Note.

Unless Goods are returned to Next Step Beauty due to the above, the Customer will not be entitled to return Goods to Next Step Beauty after delivery.

RETURNS (OTHER THAN GOODS OF UNSATISFACTORY QUALITY / DAMAGED IN TRANSIT)

Next Step Beauty will be entitled to refuse to accept the return of Goods at its entire discretion. In the case of chemical products Next Step Beauty will not replace or refund these Goods due to risk of contamination after leaving the premises. Next Step Beauty is unable to refund/exchange or replace electrical bulbs under any circumstances.

If Next Step Beauty does agree to accept the return of Goods then the Customer will pay for the Goods to be returned by appropriate means. If return is accepted the Goods must be
i. Notified to us within 3 WORKING DAYS OF DELIVERY
ii. Returned to us WITHIN 7 WORKING DAYS OF DELIVERY
iii.Be returned unopened, unused and in re-saleable condition.

Under these circumstances, the Customer who returns the goods will normally incur a 15% of the price paid + VAT handling charge.

Remittance Terms Orders will not be processed until payment has been received in full and cleared.

If the Customer fails to make payment, Next Step Beauty may defer or cancel any further deliveries of Goods, stop any Goods in transit and treat the Order as terminated.
