Great Ormond Street

Throughout its long history, Great Ormond Street Hospital has always relied on public support, even after the founding of the NHS in 1948. Our mission as a charity is to raise money to enable the hospital to continue to provide the very best care for its young patients and their families.
Thanks to our wonderful supporters, Great Ormond Street Hospital can give hope to the thousands of very ill children who need our help every year.

We raise money to enable Great Ormond Street Hospital to provide world-class care for its young patients and their families by:

• contributing to the rebuilding and refurbishment of the hospital
• supporting ground-breaking research into the development of new treatments
• funding the most up-to-date equipment
• providing accommodation and other support services for children and their families

Lymphoma Association

When someone is told they have lymphoma it is often the most difficult experience they have ever faced. Many people have never heard of lymphoma before they or someone close to them is diagnosed and don’t know anything about it. They often feel shocked, frightened or hopeless.

We are the UK’s only charity focused exclusively on providing specialist information and support to help lymphoma patients, their relatives, friends and carers. We help people feel less vulnerable, more confident and more in control, which helps them cope and deal with their treatment.

You and others affected by lymphoma can rely on our medical and other information because it is regularly reviewed by doctors and other experts as well as people who have experienced lymphoma, and we have been certified as a producer of reliable health and social care information by The Information Standard, a rigorous quality mark scheme supported by the Department of Health.
