How Long Does This Course Take?

There are 26 units across three foundation modules and a three-unit treatment module. It is the fastest of our lash courses to get to a working standard, because application is a placement skill rather than a timed chemical process or a lash-by-lash build. Most students complete their training within a few weeks to a few months.

How Is the Course Delivered?

Entirely online. Trimming and shaping a strip to a particular eye is the part that separates a good application from an obvious one, and Victoria works through it on camera. Models are easy to come by for this one — the lashes come off the same evening, so friends are far more willing than they are for a semi-permanent treatment.

How Am I Assessed?

Every unit is assessed and you can resubmit as often as you need. The assessment for this module is about finish rather than endurance — whether the strip sits flush at the inner and outer corner, and whether clusters are placed where the eye actually needs them.

Is This Course Accredited?

Yes — by ABT, IPHM and IGCT. It is recognised by insurers including Towergate, Radius, Insync and Balens. Temporary lashes are usually the simplest lash service to get cover for, since nothing is left on the client, but each insurer sets its own terms.

What Will I Need To Buy?

There is no dedicated kit, because the outlay is small — a selection of strips and clusters, lash adhesive, scissors, tweezers and a remover. Buying a few strip styles you like is more useful than a fixed set.

Do I Need Any Experience?

No. The Skin Healthcare and Anatomy and Physiology modules cover the skin and the eye before you apply anything to the lash line, which matters because adhesive sits on skin that is thinner here than almost anywhere on the body.

Does It Cover the Business Side?

The Foundation module’s 12 units cover business promotion, promoting products and services, reception duties, retail legislation and taking payments. This treatment is seasonal and event-led rather than steady, so the promotion units and the diary side matter more than they would for a rebooking service.
