Not Sure Where to Start?
Pick the option that sounds most like you.
I’m New to Skin Treatments
Start with microdermabrasion or dermaplaning at £75. Both are straightforward exfoliation treatments, the equipment is simple, and clients recognise them by name — a sensible first step before peels or needling.
I Already Offer Facials
If facials are already on your menu, the machine treatments are the natural next step. Dermaplaning and microdermabrasion are the easiest to slot in, and each course stands on its own at £75 so you can add one at a time.
I Want the Higher-Value Treatments
Advanced skin treatments sit at a higher price point than a standard facial and clients book them in courses of several sessions rather than one-off. Microneedling and chemical peels are the two most asked for by name.
Facial & Skin Course Package
Six treatments learned together in one package. The Ultimate Facial Course covers the Standard Facial and Luxury Facial alongside microdermabrasion, hydradermabrasion, chemical peels and LED light therapy — the full skin menu in a single enrolment.

The Microneedling course was very informative and upon completion I feel confident to use both the Derma roller method and Pen treatment. The course covers everything you need to know and the video tutorials are just as good as any classroom courses that I have previously attended. I am happily providing the microneedling treatment within my business.
I run my own business from home doing lash extensions, microdermabrasion and microneedling and I am also currently enrolled in a lash lifting and chemical peel course. Passing these courses gave me the opportunity to quit a job i really didn’t enjoy, work from home and around my daughter.
I have done lashes, nails, facial, dermaplaning and chemical peel courses and they’ve all been great. Great service with any help needed. Great support group too.

Individual Aesthetics Courses
Six advanced skin treatments, each taught as a standalone course at £75. Every one covers the theory alongside the method — skin anatomy, contra-indications, client consultation and aftercare — so you know who a treatment suits and when to turn it down.
Learn dermaplaning: using a sterile blade to remove dead skin and fine vellus hair, leaving a smooth surface for products and makeup.
Learn microdermabrasion: controlled mechanical exfoliation, machine handling, pressure and passes, contra-indications and aftercare.
Learn hydradermabrasion: cleansing, exfoliating and hydrating the skin in one treatment, with client consultation, contra-indications and aftercare.
Learn LED light therapy: the wavelengths used, which concerns each suits, treatment timings and how it pairs with your other facials.
Learn chemical skin peels: peel types and strengths, patch testing, application, timing and the aftercare that protects the result.
Learn microneedling with both the derma roller and the pen, including needle depths, skin preparation, contra-indications and aftercare.

After Your Course: From Certificate to Your First Clients
Finishing your course is the start of the next step. Here’s how students go from learning to working with clients.
1. Practise Until It’s Second Nature
You will work through the treatment on willing volunteers. This is the part that builds real technique and confidence.
2. Get Your Certificate
Complete the course and receive your certificate, ready to download.
3. Plan Your Business
Business training is included with every course to help you set your prices, present your work and find your first clients.
4. Keep Building
Add a second or third treatment as your client list grows, so one appointment can become several.
Why Add Advanced Skin Treatments?
Advanced skin treatments are where a beauty room adds margin. They take a similar amount of chair time to a facial, sell at a higher price, and clients tend to book a course of them rather than a single appointment.
- Higher price point: machine and peel treatments sit above a standard facial on most price lists.
- Booked in courses: clients are usually advised a series rather than one session, so a booking becomes several.
- Builds on what you have: if you already do facials, the consultation and skin knowledge carry straight over.
- Room to combine: treatments such as dermaplaning and LED are often paired in one appointment.
Popular Skin Treatments Explained
Not sure which treatment is which? Here is what clients ask for by name, and what each one involves.
Dermaplaning
A sterile blade is drawn across the skin to remove dead cells and fine vellus hair, leaving a smooth surface. Often paired with another treatment in the same appointment.
Microneedling
Fine needles, applied with a roller or a pen, create controlled micro-channels in the skin. The course covers both methods, needle depths, preparation and aftercare.
Chemical Peel
A solution is applied to resurface the skin. The course covers peel types and strengths, patch testing, timing and the aftercare that protects the result.
Microdermabrasion
Mechanical exfoliation using a machine, with control over pressure and the number of passes. A long-established treatment clients recognise by name.
Hydradermabrasion
Cleansing, exfoliating and hydrating in a single treatment. The course covers consultation, contra-indications and aftercare alongside the treatment itself.
LED Light Therapy
Light at different wavelengths, used on its own or added to another facial. The course covers which concerns each wavelength suits, timings and how to combine it.

Aesthetics Course FAQs
Do I Need to Be Qualified in Beauty First?
These courses are written for people already working in beauty or training towards it. The treatments involve working on the skin with blades, needles, acids and machines, so you should be confident with client consultation and contra-indications before you start.
Are These Courses Accredited?
The advanced skin treatments on this page are professional training courses with a certificate on completion, not accredited courses. The Standard Facial and Luxury Facial inside the Ultimate Facial Course are accredited by ABT, IPHM and IGCT. Insurers set their own requirements for advanced skin treatments, so check what your chosen provider needs before taking bookings.
What Equipment Do I Need?
It depends on the treatment. Dermaplaning needs sterile blades, microneedling a pen or roller, and microdermabrasion, hydradermabrasion and LED each need their machine. Chemical peels need the peel products themselves. There is no kit to buy from us.
How Long Does a Course Take?
There are no deadlines. Most students complete a single course within a few weeks, and you keep access to your course materials for life, so you can go back over anything before your first client.
Can I Really Learn These Treatments Online?
The theory and the method are taught through video demonstrations you can rewatch as often as you need, with an eBook alongside. The practical side happens in your own time, on willing volunteers, until you are confident enough to charge for it.
Which Treatment Should I Add First?
Dermaplaning and microdermabrasion are the usual first additions — the equipment is straightforward and clients recognise both by name. Microneedling and chemical peels command higher prices but need more care around consultation and aftercare.
Do I Need Insurance for These Treatments?
You will need insurance before you treat paying clients, and insurers set their own requirements for advanced skin treatments — some ask for specific training or supervised practice. Check with your chosen provider before you book anyone in.
Can I Pay in Instalments?
Yes. You can spread the cost over three interest-free payments at the checkout.
