Plan How You’ll Use Your Beauty Skills

You’ve built your skills; this course helps you plan how you’ll use them. In about five to six hours of short videos, worked examples and checklists, you’ll build a simple one-page plan for your beauty business, work out prices that cover your costs, and leave with a weekly routine to help you grow at your own pace. No business experience is needed, and you don’t need clients yet.

The course is built around three questions: Where am I now? Where am I going? What will I do in the next 90 days? You’ll follow three example therapists – a newly qualified nail technician, a mobile lash and brow therapist and a home salon therapist – as they build their own plans.

The 90-Day Beauty Plan FAQs

Do I need business experience?

No. The course starts from where you are and walks you through each step, with examples from three therapists in different situations.

I don’t have any clients yet. Is it still for me?

Yes. Many students start with no clients at all. Your plan will help you decide how to find your first ones.

How long does it take?

About five to six hours of study, and your plan itself takes under an hour to write. To complete the course, you’ll then spend about 10 minutes a week for four weeks on your first next steps.

How is the course assessed?

There’s a short quiz at the end of each unit. To receive your certificate you upload your completed plan, one treatment worked out in the price calculator and your first four weeks of next steps.

Is this course accredited?

No. You’ll receive a Next Step Beauty certificate of completion. The course is about planning and running your business rather than a treatment.

Will this guarantee clients or income?

No course can promise that. What you’ll get is a clear plan, practical tools and a simple routine to help you work towards your goals at your own pace.
