This is for you if you want to stop using tips. Sculpting builds the whole nail on a form, so the length, the shape and the apex are yours rather than a plastic tip’s — and it is the skill that separates a technician who can fix anything from one who needs the right tip in the drawer.
It is built around the Nail Sculpting Course, which teaches sculpting in both acrylic and gel, so the kit carries both systems and 100 forms to build on.
It assumes you have already learned a system. If acrylic or hard gel is new to you, start with the Acrylic Nail Kit or the Gel Extensions Kit and come to sculpting once the product is behaving.
The sculpting course covers acrylic and gel because the form is the same skill in both and the differences are worth feeling for yourself. Buying for that from scratch means two bonds, two sets of product, two brushes and a pack of forms from four different places.
This kit is both systems in one order: a Halo acrylic set with six powders and a red sable brush, an IBD builder gel set with its own Power Bond and nylon brush, and 100 Perfect Fit forms to build either on.
The forms are the part people underestimate. Sculpting badly is almost always a form that was not fitted properly under the free edge, which is why there are a hundred of them here rather than ten.
The full item list is below. What it adds up to is this:
No. Kits are optional and are not part of the course fee. Nothing in the Nail Sculpting Course is tied to a brand, so products you already own are fine — most people buying this kit are adding forms and a second system to what they have.
No. The acrylic in this kit sets in air, but the IBD builder gel needs curing, so you will need an LED lamp for the gel half of the course. If you do not have one, the Builder in a Bottle Kit and the Gel Polish Kit both include a lamp.
No, and that is the point. Sculpting builds the nail on a form and the form comes off, so there is no tip to blend. The 100 forms in the kit take their place.
Yes, though it is thinner and will want to run off the form until you have the knack. The course works in acrylic and builder gel, which hold their shape while you place them.
Professional. Halo for the acrylic system, IBD for the builder gel, Pure Nails and Edge for brushes, files and acetone.
Delivery is free to mainland UK. Kits are dispatched within seven days and usually within three. If you are ordering from outside mainland UK, message us on WhatsApp and we will price the shipping for you.
Yes. Pay in 3 interest-free instalments with Klarna, PayPal or Clearpay at the checkout.
The forms, powders, liquid, gels, bonds and acetone are consumables and get used up with practice. The two brushes, the dappen dish and the file stay with you.
