Complete Nail Technicians Course Overview
The complete nail technician course is the perfect way to enter the nail industry. This course will give you the all the practical and theory knowledge that you need to become a successful nail technician with a qualification to match.
The course allows beginners, as well as existing nail technicians, to gain experience as well as learn the skills and techniques required to carry out all nail treatments.
The course structure will cover the principles of manicure and nail anatomy and physiology, tip application and blending, fibreglass and silk application, as well as UV gel and Acrylic application. After successful completion of the course each student will be issued with a Complete Nail Technician Diploma allowing you to work within a salon or start up your very own business and get insurance through BABTAC.
During the course all products and equipment will be supplied by Next Step College. Your tutors will advise you on suggested equipment and product list for students to purchase. It is also essential that all students attend the course with no nail extensions as students will work on one another throughout the training days, we advise this because it is important to not only experience applying the nails to someone but also to experience from a clients point of view.
This is the first step into the industry but definitely not the last with numerous further learning opportunities for students after completion of the complete nail technician course.

Entry Requirements
No previous experience, qualifications or knowledge within the beauty industry is required to attend the Complete Nail Technicians course. The course starts from a basic level and therefore is recommended for anyone wishing to go into the beauty industry.
Insurance
The Complete Nail Technicians course is fully accredited with BABTAC Beauty insurance. This insurance cover will allow you to provide treatments on paying clients. On successful completion of the course a Next Step Beauty Diploma certificate will be issued and a photocopy of this will be required by the insurance company to process your application of insurance.
